The TEAR Initiative - Together Embrace and Remember

Nakuona has been working with Blackstory Partnership with the TEAR Initiative which is about remembering those who have passed away from COVID-19. Nakuona had the privilege of obtaining the voices from school children, adults and elders in Birmingham about how COVID-19 impacted on their lives.
Nakuona Catch Up Sessions
We will continue to catch up with the Nakuona Nominees and Speakers during 2020 and 2021.
20 funded places for the Arts Award Discover: Online short course for young people during COVID-19
Dr Judith Bruce-Golding is working with Trinity College London to support 20 young people between the ages of 11 and 15 years, in completing the Arts Award Discover course. This is an introductory course to the arts which focuses on developing creative thought when thinking about the arts. This short course is about sound and can be completed within 20 hours at home.
